He looked into her eyes meticulously and told her that her eyes were like an ocean: deep, dark and infinite. He saw his reflection in her eyes as himself drowning in that ocean.
She smiled while closely looking at the mirror and marveled at the details he had given about her beautiful eyes.
She still looks at the mirror and tries to see her reflection. She doesn’t smile and the eyes cry as all that she can see is darkness.
The lover of the ocean did not like to drown.
Who says love is beautiful?

Love is something complicated: beautiful and ugly. Love is something which contradicts itself on every single step it takes.

Love actually contradicts, I agree. We define it the way we experienced it or the way we perceive.
Thank you 🙂

Above all, love is deceitful and misguided.

Or maybe it is the attitude of people towards love, which, is mostly casual nowadays.
Isn’t it strange that when the experience of loving someone or being loved turns out to be devastating it completely changes the very definition of love to us? We might have believed in love as heaven and beauty, but after a heart break, unfortunately the meaning changes drastically.

I’m not sure I understand love or ever did. I have seen versions and definitions of love as defined by people and by god those versions are scary from possessive to creepy to turning someone into something else. As always humans ruin everything and anything they put their hands on *sigh*

They love the person they think they are, and not the one they actually are. That is enough to ruin everything.

yup, the downfall of love begins in us ‘molding people into what we think they should be’

Words You said are as precious as gold and even more than that. But the reality that you mentioned is a bitter truth of reality.
