Echoes of the thunder silenced
the love ditty I sang for you.
Unabating force of the rainstorm
dented the soil of delicate love.
The lightning flash cracked
the only hope I had from you.
The limpid blood
of a wounded love
spilled under my feet.
The faith that had kept us together
slid down the skin along the raindrops.
The gravity of your wrath and doubts
pushed down the lightest drop of hope.
The love of acceptance that had kept its
head above water drowned in potholes.
The treasured dream
of being with you
crushed under my feet.

I am spellbound by these lines K,
The faith that had kept us together
slid down the skin along the raindrops.
The gravity of your wrath and doubts
pushed down the lightest drop of hope.
The depth and the beauty of your words straight away touches the heart 💕
PS : I love your chappals 😊

You know what? I am not mad, sad, or frustrated about those experiences. Because that way I understand others better in order to lend a hand.

You never fail to amaze me with your courage and thoughtfulness. What you said it’s true. Experiences, bitter or sweet, teach us a lesson and make us strong.

Yes, I think totally the same. Everything that happens gives us something to treasure…. and if it is a memory no one can ever take away anymore.

Very well put but that is how we learn. We do not just learn from books, it comes from both the bad and good experiences. I love the way you give words to your thoughts, truly amazing.

Oh, yes, some do, but get one that is soft. I had one earlier that left blisters, so I understand the risk 😛
