Whenever it has come to describe myself, I have been puzzled. It is not about the confidence to tell, or the shyness that one feels, but because I think I have so much of me to tell (real things that people usually miss). However, I believe that my writing tells you more than I’d usually tell you about myself.

For the sake of social obligation:
I am Kritika Vashist. I have a simple life; away from parties, drinks, expensive possessions, near to nature, books, love and music. I am simple, yet complex to understand. I do not like to chat/talk on Social Medias, but I like having discussions about politics, economics, books, music, philosophies of life, humor, wordplay, why mosquitoes suck, why we have 8 fingers and only 2 thumbs, or anything that I am unaware of. That being said, it is obvious that I like to explore. I debunk misconceptions about seriousness of writers by cracking jokes and speaking sarcasm, which, most of the times, have made me starved, since my mother refused to give me dinner for making her to listen my silly jokes.

In my childhood I was more into painting and drawing, but as I grew up I realized my love for writing. It started from a poem that I wrote to heart out my thoughts that continued to dance till I scribbled them down. After that, I started writing poetry and short stories. A friend then recommended me to start my blog and without thinking much, I started this blog to pen down every word and every thought I have within me. I am so glad that I did. I have found few lovely people here, and I am grateful to God that this happened.
The name of the blog says it all; This blog is a bridge between my soul and my words.
